Ballet

Ballet is often referred to as the backbone of dance. The fundamentals used in ballet are often used throughout all other styles of dance as well. Ballet is on of three classes offered in our all in one class.

Dancers will learn one ballet routine to perform in the recital. They will start wearing ballet slippers and work their way up to pointe shoes.

Tap

In this class dancers wear special shoes with metal taps on the soles that allows them to create their own drum like rhythmic patterns and sound while they dance. Tap is on of three classes offered in our all in one class.

Dancers will learn one tap routine to perform in the recital. They will wear black tap shoe, style of your choice (slip on, tie, or buckle).

Jazz

In this class dances will learn the techniques and fundamentals of jazz dance. This style involves quick footsteps, leaps, turns, and jumps. Jazz is on of three classes offered in our all in one class.

Dancers will learn one jazz routine to perform in the recital. They will wear tan jazz shoes.

Musical Theatre

In this class students will learn the basic of theatre dancing. They will to dance to songs from musicals. This class involves acting, dancing, and lip syncing. This class is available for 4th through 12th grade.

Dancers will learn two routines to perform in the recital, with one costume to rent. Dancers will wear their tan jazz shoes unless told otherwise by the teacher for a specific routine.

Hip-Hop

In this class students will learn the basics and different styles of hip-hop. They will learn grooves, isolations, tricks, popping, locking, and many other techniques in their choreography. This class is available for 1st through 12th grade.

Dancers will learn two routines to perform in the recital, with one costume to purchase. Dancers may wear any safe and comfortable tennis shoes that are clean! They cannot be their everyday street shoes.

Lyrical

In this class students will learn technique and different styles of lyrical, contemporary, and modern dance. Lyrical is all about connecting the mind and the body through dance movements. This class is available for 4th through 12th grade.

Dancers will learn two routines to perform in the recital, with one costume to purchase. Dancers are required ton wear half shoes for this class.

Pre Kindegarten

This class is perfect for young dancers ages 3 to 4 who want to try dance, get active, or even meet new friends. This class will not only introduce them to the world of dance, but give them the best foundation for them to succeed. 

In this class they will focus on ballet, tap, and tumbling. At the recital they will perform two routines, tap and ballet, with the purchase of only one costume. They will need pink ballet shoes and black tap shoes to participate in class and the recital. 

Tumbling

Our studio provides tumbling lessons at the end of our all in one classes. We teach kids technique, safety, strength, and flexibility. They will learn a variety of skills and tricks we use commonly in dance. 

The dancers will be barefoot in this portion of class, and can wear their normal dance attire.
